Suncoast Integrated Health Communicable Disease Prevention Plan
What we expect of you:
Please stay home and phone us if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms. This includes but is not limited to: fever, cough, generalized fatigue or malaise, loss of appetite, loss of taste or sense of smell. We will do our best to prioritize your re-booking once you are asymptomatic. If you’ve just woken up with symptoms, no worries, the late cancellation fee will be waived provided you call to cancel first thing in the morning.
Please wear a mask if you have mild cold-like symptoms. We get it, you’ve got a mildly runny nose and sore throat but no fever, no cough, and you feel generally fine. No problem. Please just wear a mask to your appointment and sanitize your hands when you come in.
What you can expect of us:
Staff will adhere to the same policy as above: staying away if we have flu-like symptoms or wearing a mask if we have a mild cold. We will also wash or sanitize our hands between each patient and after touching doors, knobs, or keyboards.
We will disinfect all treatment room surfaces after each treatment with a Health Canada/CDC approved disinfectant and follow the protocols-for-use instructions on the bottle of each disinfectant. This includes treatment tables, chairs, desks, door knobs, pillows, clipboards, equipment & tools, etc.
All common area surfaces including door handles, bathrooms, and counters will be disinfected with Lysol on a regular basis. We ask that you allow the practitioners to open the doors for you and use your elbows to open the door when exiting.
Air purifiers will be used in all of the smaller offices and in common spaces.
